The SaniBEST offers a range of benefits as a heavy duty macerating toilet system. It can be used to install a complete bathroom up to 18 feet below the sewer line or up to 150 feet away from a soil stack. The SaniBEST pump is designed to connect with the SaniBEST Upflush Toilet, as well as any sink, shower, bath, and washing machine.

Installation of the SaniBEST is simple and only requires four connections. First, the macerating/pump is connected to the spigot of a horizontal outlet toilet. Then, the toilet tank is connected to the water supply. Next, the macerating/pump is connected to the small diameter discharge pipe work. Finally, the macerating/pump is connected to the electrical supply. Optionally, the discharge pipes from the sink, shower, bath, and/or washing machine can be connected.

The SaniBEST is equipped with a pressure chamber that starts and stops the unit, as well as a motor that drives the stainless steel macerator blades and the pump. When the flush is activated, the water flow into the SaniBEST triggers a microswitch in the pressure chamber, which starts the motor. The motor is sealed for life in an oil filled enclosure and a common spindle drives the impeller and the macerator blades, keeping moving parts to a minimum. The macerator blades rotate at 3600 RPM, reducing water and organic waste matter to slurry. The reduced solids are ejected through a grill into a container where they are picked up by the impeller pump mounted beneath the motor. In addition to toilet waste, the SaniBEST can discharge gray wastewater from other sanitary fixtures such as a hand basin, bath, bidet, and urinal.
